Three parts, one behavior: the language model formats, the tool decides, the repo remembers.

The Tool

deterministic

Pure deterministic functions: sizing math, failure classification, plan synthesis. A compiled pattern table maps a log signature to a codified fix. Same input → byte-identical output.

The Agent

orchestrator

Collects inputs, routes to tools, runs work in parallel, and knows when to stop and ask a human. Autonomous where safe, gated where it isn't.

The Repo

version-controlled corpus

A git-backed, coverage-ratcheted knowledge base. Every learned lesson is retrievable, actionable, and attributed to a real event.

Bring up bare or cloud GPU nodes and make them correct: drivers, kernel modules, NICs, fabric, hugepages, health. Catches the classic traps automatically because it has learned them.

Stand up the orchestration layer end-to-end: device plugins, node selectors, tolerations, the collective-communication operator, workload manifests, ordered so a step never runs before its prerequisite.

Sub-agents generate candidates, evaluate them through a cascaded gate (parse → compile → correctness → benchmark), and evolve the winners. Evolutionary search + MAP-Elites + multi-LLM consensus + a bandit.

Trust & safety

The whole point is not being confidently wrong

Claims are sourced and numbers are provenance-stamped. Irreversible actions stop for a human, and the determinism is the product.

No hallucinated numbers
Benchmarks come from real measured runs with full provenance: commit, image digest, command, timestamp. A number without provenance never ships.
Human-gated for anything irreversible
The agent stops for money, capacity, destructive ops, credentials, or evicting someone else's work. It prepares the action and hands you one command.
Everything attributed
Each learned lesson links to the real event it came from. Unattributed folklore is explicitly rejected.
Sensitive-data scrubber
Account IDs, private IPs, internal hostnames, customer names, and keys are stripped before anything is stored or shown.
Reproducible
Same inputs → same outputs. The determinism is testable and tested.
